Cul'Dumok is a Cardassian renegade who joined
Starfleet as a security/tactical advisor during the Dominion War.
His position with the Cardassian command was
compromised and, since that time, he has been banished from
Cardassian space on pain of death and, in some quarters, is viewed
as a traitor to his people and race. Recently (as something of a
reward and Starfeet Command were at a loose end as to what to do
with their "tame" Cardassian renegade) Cul'Dumok was given the
honorary title of (Acting) Ensign and a choice of roles.
Having realised that going home was, at the time, not an option, Cul'Dumok decided to join one of the new breed of Starfleet
vessels and decided upon the USS Horizon and, after some intensive
re-training, was taken on as Security/Special Op Officer. |

|
As in History served as a tactical advisor at a
command level during the Dominion War recently retrained in
Starfleet tactics and command/control structure before joining the
USS Horizon.
Transferred back to Starbase 9 Stardate 80302:0150 via the USS
Exeter. |

| Personal Note |
|
|
|
|
|
|
I see Cul'Dumok as being played as a strange
combination of brittle and tough character, amusing and witty
(though the wit can be biting and hurtful at times) and
self-absorbed and depressed at others. |
