Autumn is the youngest of five children. Her mother and father (June and Jared Falls) both work for the Federation; Jared as an innovation and design engineer and June as a data analyst. During her childhood the ‘Falls’ family moved several times to different Federation colonies and at times military installations.

The family was blessed (or cursed) with four boys - Jack, William, Thomas and Luke. Autumn (the last born) according to her mum was a gift to her for pure perseverance. Being the only girl with four older brothers has its advantages like being able to break up fights and lots of cute older male friends of her brothers. The disadvantages was lots of fighting and a very protective and smothering army who threaten any male who should so much look at her.

All of her brothers, like herself, chose professions within the Federation. Jack works for Special Operations and Intelligence and has been MIA for about a year. William works as an Ambassador, Thomas as a Science Officer and Luke as a Helmsmen.

Any family get together is a noisy affair and Autumn enjoys being part of a group.

She has an irrational fear of medical that began after her grandfather died on a trip to the doctors. This fear wasn’t help by being infected by a deadly virus on Tharan 3. Dr Matthews may have scored some points for the medical side though as he managed to cure her without any long lasting effects.

Her rabbit Sooty was also the youngest of his family and when Autumn first saw him it had been love at first sight. Since then he has chewed many pieces of her furniture and favourite items of clothing. But instead of being annoyed with him she just finds him more endearing.

After graduation from the academy with a keen interest in weaponry, Autumn was assigned to Ambassador Mossy’s security detail for a year before serving on the USS Independence (the former flagship) for over a year as a security officer. 

Autumn was recruited for an undercover operation, the mission went awry and she was left injured with a dislocated shoulder for several days before she could be extracted. Her recovery was slow and she occasionally still has pain when she is involved in prolonged physical exertion. 

Undaunted she decided to take advantage of her other abilities so she applied for the challenging role as Acting Chief of Operations on the USS Horizon.
