Emma comes from a typical middle class family. With no particular skills and a degree in Liberal Arts, she decided to try her hand at
Starfleet. She attended the Academy right after 4 mundane years at the
University of California; which, by the way, isn't even IN California. She spent
another 4 years at the Academy to graduate smack dab in the middle of her class.
After 2 years of mind numbing grunt work on Starbase 12, she accidentally
tripped up a known terrorist by... well... tripping him with her mop bucket and was
promptly promoted to Ensign and given the chance to join the crew of the USS
Horizon as a Security/Special Ops Officer. |
