Tammin entered her quarters for the first time... and were they something. Her quarters on the Horizon were a little more spacious than she had imagined. The space was twice the size of her little suite that she had been given whilst on vacation in Cardassia. The only problem that Doyle had encountered was that it was a barren room - just the rug, 2 couches, a desk, bed, table, kitchen and restroom. There was also a large picture of the Horizon, as well as a miniature model on the table. Her bags had been placed on on her bed and she happily grabbed them.

After quickly changing into a more comfortable uniform, she then took out some of her personal articles. She put next to her bed a picture of her family, along with a wind up alarm clock - despite the computer being able to 'disturb' her sleep the alarm clock was a much better option. She placed various pictures up around her room, she also put up her academy diploma, along with her father's medals and other things. It took her about an hour to unpack everything but all was done. She got a glass of red wine from the replicator and drank quickly.

Doyle examined the bridge once again, as she didn't have a good look the first time. She was impressed with what she saw and knew she was going to enjoy her new assignment. Doctor Matthews seemed lovely and she was sure that they would get along well although she wasn't doubting their would be some 'tension and disagreements' at times.

Tammin was very straightforward, spoke her mind and made sure her objections on a matter were clearly noted. She had surprised herself by how much she was looking forward to this assignment...

"Is that logical, Ensi.."

Tammin, Vet'Klan and the rest of the security team scattered among the trees of the dense forest. The Jem'Hadar were firing like crazy, just then Tammin had a thought.

Although a medical officer, Tammin often ran various simulations placing herself within different departments.. medicine was her life but she liked to try new things and some day would like to be a bridge officer.

The security detail slowly began to return fire. But they were in no position to fight amongst the trees. Vet'Klan gave Doyle a look, who nodded and Vet'Klan set to work. He gestured to two of the security officers to go east, before gesturing one more of them to back them up. He gestured for the rest to follow himself and Tammin. The Jem'Hadar had fortified themselves in a position on a small hill. There were a few large trees on the hill, but very little else. It was perfect for the Jem'Hadar... they could easily pick off their targets one-by-one.

The Security detail walked slowly and soundlessly through the forest. They found a nice position on the west side of the hill. The three other security holograms took their position on the east side. Vet'Klan gave another look to Tammin and nodded.

"Open fire!" Vet'Klan yelled.

Tammin pulled her trigger.
