As Dathan re-entered the building in which his colleagues currently slept, Dathan realised just how wet and cold he was as a pool of water began to collect around his feet and the warmth of the place began its magic on his face and hands. Kimat, who was right behind Dathan, moved over to a far wall and pressed a button, revealing a sliding draw, and she removed two large, soft towels, throwing one to Dathan as she placed the other around herself. The two began to dry what they could when Kimat began to laugh.

"May I inquire what you find so amusing?" Dathan asked.

"This situation. You seem less trusting than your friends, yet so caring. Once you try the sleep chamber you will also see the amusing side of this".

Dathan was surprised by the way Kimat seemed so sure that he would use one of those machines. Dathan stopped what he was doing.

"Kimat, I won't be using one of your sleep chambers. It's not because I don't trust you or your people - it's because my dreams are my own, they're private to me and I won't allow anyone to violate my right to privacy."

Kimat paused.

"Well then, how are we meant to trust you? Also how are we meant to know that you are here peacefully and your dreams are not that of conquest?"

"There are still many aboard the Horizon who will no doubt want to try your sleep chambers. Even now you have senior officers in them. You will see that we come in peace and wish your people no harm" Dathan responded.

Kimat seemed to except Dathan's reasoning, at least for the moment. The two walked into the chamber room.

"Anything to report Ensign Aldran?".

"No Sir, they're still asleep".

"Very well, contact the Horizon and have report Ensign Cul`Dumok report here to keep watch. You can report back to the ship with me." Dathan turned to Kimat. "I to need to beam up, change and get the shore leave roster up and running".

"Will you return?" Kimat enquired.

"Yes, of course".

Just as Dathan responded Ensign Cul`Dumok transported in. With a quick briefing with Dumok, Dathan tapped his combadge.

"L'Cir to Horizon - two to beam up".
