As Ensign Farris walked into the Transporter room he noticed Ensigns Dumok and Colieon adjusting their away gear. The doors had only just shut when they slid open behind him, allowing entrance to Lt. Kehn and various members of the Science department.

"How are we? Ready to get under way?" Farris asked.

"Looks good on our end - phasers on stun," Vaebn ordered. As he nodded to the Transporter Chief they dematerialized into thin air.

After rematerializing Ensign Farris took out his tricorder and began scanning for a nearby console or power station. After a few moments of scanning he found one.

"Lieutenant, I have located a power source," Tim announced.

"Okay, split up," Vaebn ordered. "Farris, Colieon - go to the power source. Adder, Dumok - we'll search the nearby area." He proceeded to task further members with establishing a secure perimeter and searching for any useful information.

The officers parted, and moments later Ensign Farris and the security officer came across a console that was shielded from the tricorder scans.

"Farris to Remmick - I need you to emit a low-level EM surge to drop some shielding."

"I'm on it Tim," his fellow Engineer replied. After a few short, quiet moments Marc's voice graced the airwaves once more. "There, it should be down. Try it now."

The shielding on the console in front of the officers shorted out and Farris began the relay the information to the Horizon.

"Farris to Horizon."

"Deadilus here. We are receiving datastream now."

"Sir, the systems should be..."

The signal dropped out, and Farris tapped his combadge again.

"Farris to Horizon."

"Repeat, Farris to Horizon."

"Farris to Lieutenant Kehn."

"Kehn here."

"Sir, I just lost communications with the ship and I am picking up a dampening field around this complex," Tim reported.

"Regroup at the beam-in co-ordinates." Vaebn turned to his group, turning them around.

As Farris grabbed his phaser he remodulated it, telling Colieon to do the same.

"We need to watch our backs until we regroup." With tricorder in one hand and phaser in the other the officers made their way down the corridor to regroup.
