"Well, I've just arrived on my new ship, not very comfy but hey, it's better than nothing."

Emarbe is new aboard the Horizon, having transferred across during their rendezvous with the Exeter.

He is going to meet the Captain shortly and is really nervous about seeing him. Before he can put down his bag his communicator chimes.

"Ensign Beehan, this is the Captain. Meet me in the Mess Hall in 5 minutes, we shall talk about what duties you will do."

"Yes, Sir. On my way!"

Emarbe leaves his room and heads to the Mess Hall, thinking to himself *the Captain seems nice.*
