Gitta found herself leaning against the wall of the small cottage. Her implants were hurting from walking. She just watched as Emma Smith and Alex Ross talked to each other about what to do next. Gitta could not help but enjoy the interaction between them; it was like a comedy show. They would insult each and congratulate each other in the same breath. They were a good team. She really was beginning to think that she would learn a lot from Emma and Alex about being a good officer.

Remmick and Three were also giving their ideas to the group as they cleaned themselves up. Remmick seemed funny and resourceful, whereas Three was a mystery to Gitta, but she could see that Smith, Ross and Remmick respected him. Gitta had to admit that she was beginning to warm up to him herself. Gitta was lost in her thoughts when Ross brought her attention back to the group.

“I not sure what to do, it’s not like we have fairy godmother.” He looked at Gitta. “Unless you are hiding one,” he said smiling at her. Gitta was about to laugh when it hit her. Emma looked at Gitta and could tell the young Ensign's mind was going a million miles an hour.

“Okay, you have an idea on your mind.”

Gitta look a deep breath before talking. “I am not sure but follow me - we are characters in some kind of program so, if that is right, then we have some modern tech behind this and there has to be a way to get into the system.” Ross nodded his head in agreement.

“You may be right but there is no modern tech here that will allow us to do that.”

“Yes, but maybe there is fairytale way we could use the story to access the program,” Gitta replied.

“Okay, that makes sense but how?” Emma asked.

Gitta looked at Ross. “When Ross mentioned the godmother in Cinderella, I remember that Cinderella could wish anything from her. What if I wished to have access to the computer?”

Remmick looked across the group to Gitta. “You are going to wish to have access to the computer? I think she was in the castle to long!”

“Let's give it a try; we have no other ideas. Cinderella, call for your fairy godmother,” Emma said. Gitta shook her head

“I cannot believe that I am doing this...”

“Fairy godfather, can you grant me access to the computer?” Suddenly a small humanoid male stood in the middle of the group. He was the size of an adult male human, dressed in black and had ridges that went from the left side to the right side of his face. His eyes were the color of green with yellow dots in them.

“Who are you? The fairy godfather!?” Ross said surprise. The humanoid male give him a look of disgust.

“Of course not! You can call me The Narrator.”
