"Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair so that I may climb the golden stair."

Neither of them knew if it would work, but given the strangeness of their surroundings and their appearance, Autumn flung her hair towards the window once more, watching as it sailed out through the hole and down towards the Captain. Captain Deadilus, on the other hand, simply stood back as the long blonde locks flowed down the side of the tower, seemingly growing longer as they fell until the tips touched the ground at the base of the tower.

Grabbing a handful in his hand, the Captain climbed gently but swiftly up the Chief of Operations' hair!

The tower stood several stories tall and the wall was smooth enough to present no handholds or footholds for the commanding officer to use. As he reached the ledge of the window, Autumn helped him through.

Below them, just inside the edge of the forest, two young teenagers watched intensely; in nearly fifteen years alone, it was the first time that they had seen this story. The girl giggled as the funny man climbed the hair of the other, her brother punching her in the arm and putting a single digit to his mouth, telling her to remain quiet.

The Captain and the COO, both in the tower's singular room, had hoped for a door to appear or a stairwell to manifest itself. But nothing happened.

"You did have a plan didn't you, Sir?" Autumn asked.
