In the last quarter we have made some minor adjustments to the text on the main page and the picture has been changed to include Starbase 9. Updated schematics are now available for both the Relentless and Horizon and ‘mission logs’ have been added to all the chapters (both open and closed).
A new IRC chat room is now available under the ‘Information’ section of the website and we are hoping to organise a day of chat for all the writers (around December 16th or 17th, but we will get back to you on that one soon).
Stories
The USS Horizon’s intriguing dream chamber storyline started this quarter. It is nice to see that so many of our characters have dark sides! The plot has certainly thickened now that we have discovered the Som-Nyan people’s resistance, the possibility that the Ferengi who could be buying information and one of our own crew members is facing punishment.
Meanwhile, the USS Relentless has jumped to a parallel universe and has landed us in the middle of trouble. The universe we have travelled to is still fighting the Dominion War and it looks like, in this universe, the Dominion may win. What can our Relentless do? Should they really do anything? Or have they already done too much?
Scott has also developed an ‘alternative universe Federation map’ for the new universe that the Relentless is in. You can find it by going to the Relentless’ news page and clicking on the link there. This is planned to be an ongoing inclusion for future Relentless storylines to assist with the writing.

Other
Advertising is going well and we have had quite a steady stream of applications. We have adopted a new policy of not including people on the crew roster until they have actually posted as many people fill out applications and never write!
Some really good discussion points have been developing on the messageboard. If you haven’t yet joined please do and feel free to add to the conversation - it is there for both game and non-game chat.
