The life as a child of labor worker parents wasn't easy for the young, day-dreaming child. He was spared a lot that was considered basic needs for a normal-grown child. Most of the time he has he spends with his friends, on the street, and on more than one occasion he was basted for committing small crimes because of his friends. But what that kid had that others hadn't was unique: he had talent. And by using it correctly he was able to avoid the criminal life waiting for him. As soon as he was capable, he departed from the planet while hiding in the cargo bay of one of the merchant ships. For the next year he had found himself on Earth, making a living from small jobs.

When he turned 18, he made a decision - he applied to Starfleet Academy and was accepted. The next four years weren't easy for that gifted child - due to the lack of an appropriate education he had to double his efforts in order to finish the first year - and avoid being removed from the lines of the cadets. He knew this would be his only chance to successfully achieving his dream - to reach the final frontier... But he has made it. And four years after he had applied, Yoni earned the privilege to stand proud in the graduation hall - and wear his first golden pipe.
