Character History
Abigail was born on a commercial starship in the middle of a firefight with some unscrupulous raider ships. Her father, the pilot of the vessel, took his last breath as Abigail took her first. Abigail’s mother was determined to make up for her troubled beginnings by giving her the best childhood possible. She married a rich man who promised the best for Abby. Abigail loathed her step-father as she could see him for the abusive and vindictive man he was. Abigail left home to join Starfleet as soon as she could. Her diplomatic skills and lateral thinking meant she progressed quickly through the ranks. When the USS Hercules was destroyed in combat with an unknown party, Abigail was left stranded in an escape pod for 6 days. She still has nightmares about it.

Service History
Having graduated with honours from Starfleet Abigail joined the fleet as an Operations Officer on the USS Athena. She worked her way through the ranks and finally ended up as Chief Operations Officer on the USS Hercules. During hostile contact, the Hercules was crippled and started to collapse. Many lives were lost in the fight and the rest of the crew were evacuated in life pods. However, out of those that evacuated, only Abby survived. After an intense recovery period Abigail was offered the position of Acting Executive Officer on the USS Explorer. History caught up with Abby and the position was short-lived. She was however quickly recruited onto the USS Relentless as Executive Officer.
