The Great Dominion War caught Yoni when he was in youth, and Rosat Prime, his home planet was endangered by a Dominion attack every now and then. Yoni could remember the endless drills the miners were been going through all the time... In case of a full-scale invasion they were to hide in the mines and wait there until the troops handled the situation.

For Yoni the war always seemed too far away from him and he couldn't imagine himself kidnapped by a Dominion soldier, like the Earthling boys were educated before their night sleep. Now, on his way to the bridge Yoni could witness a real location from the Great War that lay in front of him. Not as part of a simulation back in the academy, not as a part from an historical documentary, but an actual sight, one that he could almost smell.

On the last minute, in the turbolift, Yoni had decided to change his destination and go tour the planet and for the first time in his life, witness a real site from the Great War. The bridge duty could wait a little bit, he figured to himself. His shift begins only in thirty minutes anyway and Yoni picked up to get there a little bit earlier just to go through the duty responsibilities at the Ops post with one of the experienced Ops officer there since it was his first real bridge duty.

Skipping away, Yoni quickly found himself just outside the ship, standing on the scorched red earth of the planet, Yoni took his very first taste of the alien surrounding, feeling his curiosity growing bigger. He looked around him, and started advancing toward what seemed to be a cliff edge to take a better view on the battlefield. The view that was discovered to him was shocking. Scorched bodies of battle tanks, Armored Personnel Carrier, Mechs and other machines of war were scattered all around the valley, and the dried skeletons decorating the ground, a sign for brutal battle that occurred there.

What he didn't notice was the entity that was sneaking in behind him...
