Alex sat in his command chair hoping the stunned feeling he felt wasn't obvious to the rest of the bridge crew. It took him a second before his brain began processing again after Lieutenant Mock's report. The Captain began to get the feeling that this already long day was going to get longer.

Prepared as he was for events surrounding the acquisition of the device and even having an idea of what it would do, he still found himself taken aback looking at his ship.

"I don't think we're in Kansas anymore Toto," Alex muttered.

Commander Winters looked at him questioningly and tactical reported a hail from the other Relentless.

"On Screen," Alex ordered

There wasn't a single closed mouth on the bridge of the Relentless at the sight that greeted them on the view screen. Fortunately the Captain was able to recover quickly. The crews looked over their counterparts each with a million questions. A female Romulan face greeted them with a Klingon male seated to the right of her. There were other changes to the crew of the other Relentless but the bridge looked pretty much the same and the familiar Federation flag hung in its accustomed place.

The Romulan spoke then, "I am Captain Alexandra Khavok of the USS Relentless. This is my first officer, Abbas W'ntrok. Let me be the first to welcome you, I'm sure you have many questions," she said with a smile.

As introductions on Alex's part seemed irrelevant he merely replied with, "Indeed we do."

The Romulan Captain nodded, "why don't we discuss your questions over dinner and ale? Say, two hours?"

"That will be fine, hail us when you're ready for us to beam over," Alex responded.

The Romulan nodded and cut the transmission.

"Abby, get the staff assembled, and if you have any thoughts or insights now's the time."

"Yes Sir," Commander Winters replied.

Alex strode from the bridge collecting his thoughts.
