After watching him work for the majority of this mission the CEO had left Ensign Paul Hatchet in Main Engineering doing an inspection on his own work, making sure that he hadn’t forgotten anything. He knew that they were shortly headed back to 'their' Starbase 9.

Paul was working on a power coupling link when it blew up in his face - the link was destroyed but luckily Paul was unharmed. He got up and cussed under his breath.

*Dang, I almost had it too.* He started to repair it, sighed and summoned the Chief Engineer

"Lt. Vilmer, please can you come to engineering?"
