What does PBEM RPG stand for?

PBEM RPG is an acronym for Play By Email Roleplaying Game.


How do you play?

Players in the Star Trek : Infinity universe write as a character they have created. As the 'email' part suggests, the stories are distributed via email.


What do the players write?

The Captain of the ships set up a 'mission' (e.g. exploration of a dead alien world) and every character on the ship posts their perspective, interacting with other characters and advancing the storyline.


How can I see what others have written?

If your application is accepted, then you will receive emails via the Captain. Your stories and those of other players are edited by the Captain to remove spelling, punctuation and/or grammatical errors present and to ensure the storyline is consistent. Edited stories are then distributed to all on the relevant ship and placed up on the website.
